Candidates desiring to take admission in the 1st Semester B.E. Course of State Engineering Colleges are to apply online at the Official Website of this Directorate (www.dteassam.in) for appearing in the Combined Admission Test (CEE-2017). The process online application Will be opened from 20th April 2017- to 5th May 2017.
CEE-2017 will be based on the NCERT Syllabus adopted by AHSEC, Assam. The examination will be MCO Type and Comprise of a single paper of 3(three) hour duration with the following distribution

a) Mathematics: 40 Questions
b) Physics: 40 Questions
c) Chemistry: 40 Questions
4 (Four) marks will be awarded for every right answer and 1 (one) mark will be deducted for every Wrong answer.
Application Fee: An Application Fee of Rs.600/- (Six hundred only) Excluding Bank Charges) is to be paid using "State Bank Collect" which facilitates payment through Debit Card Credit Card/Net Banking. Payment may also be made at any Branch of State Bank of India after generating the Cash Deposit Form from "State Bank Collect" in final Step of on-line Application. Further instructions will be available during the online Application Process. Students need not require to submit any hard copy of the application.
Admit Card: Admit Cards Hall Tickets may be downloaded from the website (www.dteassam.in) by putting the Application Number and Date of Birth of the Candidate from 25th May 2017.
Examination Date: The CEE-2017 will be held on 4th June 2017 (Sunday)
