Applications are invited from the intending candidates for filling up of the following posts, which are lying vacant under the District Election Officer, Kamrup Metropolitan Election District, Guwahati and Amalgamated establishment of Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Kamrup Metropolitan District,
Guwahati.
1. Name of Post: Junior Assistant
Educational Qualification:
a) Must have completed Bachelor Degree from any recognized University/Board.
b) Minimum 6 (six) months Diploma in Computer Applications from a Govt. recognized institute.
c) Knowledge of Assamese Typewriting is desirable.
2. Name of Post: EVM Godown Keeper
No of Post: 01
Educational Qualification: Must have completed Bachelor Degree from any recognized University/Board.
a) Minimum 6 (six) months Diploma in Computer Applications from a Govt. recognized institute.
b) Knowledge of Assamese Typewriting is desirable.
3. Name of Post: Junior Assistant
No of Posts: 19 [UR-12, SC-02, ST(P)-02, ST(H)-01, Women-01, P.H.-01]
Educational Qualification: Must have completed Bachelor Degree from any recognized University/Board.
a) Minimum 6 (six) months Diploma in Computer Applications from a Govt. recognized institute.
b) Knowledge of Assamese Typewriting is desirable.
4. Name of Post: EVM Godown Watchman
No of Post: 01
Educational Qualification: Read up to Class VIII
5. Name of Post: Office Peon
No of Post: 01
Educational Qualification: Read up to Class VIII
6. Name of Post: Office Chowkidar
No of Post: 01
Educational Qualification: Read up to Class VIII.
Age: 18 to 38 years of age as on 01.01.2017. The upper age is relaxable by 5 years in case of SC/ST and persons with Disabilities.
How to apply:
The applications should be submitted in the standard form as published in Assam Gazette in Part-IX on or before 04.09.2017 up to 5.00 PM in the drop box kept for the purpose in Nazarat Branch (Ground Floor) in the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Kamrup Metropolitan District, Guwahati. No application will be received after expiry of last date and time.
Application must be accompanied by the following:
a) Self attested photocopies of all certificates of Educational Qualification & other Qualifications, Age, Caste etc. along with other testimonials.
b) Three copies of self attested recent Passport size photograph. (One copy to be pasted on the right top corner of the Application from signed by the Applicant and the other two copies to be signed by the applicant on reverse of the photograph must be attached with the application)
c) A self addressed envelope affixing Postal Stamp of Rs.5.00 must be enclosed along with the application form.
Applications and other documents should be put inside an envelope on which the applicant should clearly mention the post applied for.
Candidates must have registered their names in the Employment Exchange and the Registration numbers along with the date must be mentioned in their applications.
