The positions of Research Scientists are purely temporary and selected candidates shall be engaged
initially for a period of two years, extendable upto the validity of the project. In any case, the maximum
period of engagement shall not exceed five years. The candidates appointed as Research scientists
shall not have any claim or right for regular appointment against any posts in NRSC/ ISRO /Dept of
Space.
